Is truth Science or Theology or Both
At the time of Noah, when he was told to build a boat as the earth was going to be covered in a flood, no one believed him. He was jeered and made fun of. That did not stop him from spending the next two hundred years building the boat. Noah had learned to communicate with God, and there was nothing that could rob him of his spiritual understanding and maturity. He was anchored to the rock of Truth. Why was the world consumed in a flood? Idolatry, immorality, all forms of evil dominated the beliefs of the people of earth. The earth was covered in darkness. There was no spiritual light to sustain life. The moral decay of the world had deteriorated to the point of self destruction.
The mythological beliefs that dominated the behaviors and thinking of the people was also there self destruction. They chose to live outside of the will of God. "Isa: God is of purer eyes then to behold evil." God is not in our darkness. " He is the same today, yesterday, and forever." Since Noah, kingdoms have fallen, one after another from the lack of the spiritual light that preserves and sustains life. What is this light?
The world is patterned after the will of God, and mankind in His image. There are two accounts of creation. Each one is written by a different writer, and was written five hundred years apart. I cannot document this as I found it years ago and it got lost in my moves, but I have not forgotten. The first record gives the spiritual account. There must be light (which is a spiritual order to creation) to sustain life. The second account records the journey on earth when sin has a dominant place in the thoughts and lives of man. Thus the earthly conflict between the mythological beliefs of good and evil at war, and the spiritual truths of the earth being designed after the will of God, in its perfect state.
The Bible is a journey of a people (Israel) that carried God's light down through the centuries, and preserved the written record for our guidance still today. Many times they lost their way, but their destiny was to preserve God's word, the spiritual guidance the world needs to sustain life. That life has a finite origin is one of the myths of self-deceit. As a final effort to bring His children back into the fold God sent His only sinless son into our darkness. His message of healing, redemption, and reformation was plain and simple, but got lost many times through the centuries.
Today that same darkness covers the world, and every country. How do I know? There are no gray zones in God's perfect laws. These laws like music and math have a principle that has to be followed in order to solve the problems and sustain life. Darkness covers the earth once again, just as it did in Noah's time. What does this mean? It means we are on a collusion course with our disobedience of God's laws, that preserve and sustain life. While we quibble over who is right or who is wrong about this theory or that we are running out of time. The earth as we know it cannot sustain life. The breaking up of sin (our darkness) will not be pleasant.
Our disruptive weather is just the beginning. It is not God's will for any of His children to suffer. He cannot change whom we have decided to become, without taking away our free will. He will not force His love on us. He has sent His angels to fight this last battle for us, and He has a strong army here on earth preaching, teaching, praying, and healing at their direction.
How can we change the direction we are taking? Change, repent, pray, learn; study the light of the Bible. Discard all the filth from our thinking. This includes the desires for power, wealth, fame, popularity, self-indulgence, hate, and on and on and on. If enough people take the plunge we can lift the darkness off our earth. We can change the world, as we know it. Like in Noah's time, drink and be merry, careless, and disgusting, and stay on the self-destructive course of the last days of earth. You have free will.
